Trained in art history in Rennes, then in interior architecture and design at LISAA, Gaëlle Pinel developed an early sensibility for spaces, for materials and for the stories they can carry.
Her first years in Paris sharpened her eye, before a decisive six-year chapter in London, where she joined Tom Dixon. There she worked as a set designer, exploring how objects are staged, how places tell a story and how immersive experiences are built. An intense, formative period that still runs deep in her practice.
In 2017 she returned to Rennes, wanting to put that breadth of experience at the service of singular projects. She set up there as an interior architect and designer, with an approach that is sensitive, narrative and bespoke, where every space becomes a story to be revealed.
Her love of design led her, quite naturally, to create a furniture collection born of an interior architect's eye. Each piece is conceived as a fragment of architecture: rigorous, minimal, yet alive.
She works with steel, which becomes a quiet, controlled material — one that structures a space without weighing it down.
Every line is imagined as a breath, every volume as a point of balance.
Her collection converses with light and with daily life, accompanying everyday gestures and shared moments with restraint and elegance.
